Hello all,

Just signed up as a member about 5 minutes ago. I was introduced to this blog about a year ago through a FB group but for the life of me I cannot remember which essay it was. However, I have followed this blog with anticipation which I haven’t had since the days of the early to mid aughts.

I am 39 years old, live in Toronto and have a degree in political science. I work in the global security and investigations division in a major bank.

My politics are conservative libertarian, Catholicism is my religion, and my intellectual interests are political philosophy, modernity, pluralism and religious liberty issues. I have had two essays published in Aero magazine.

The thinkers who have most influenced how I see the world are George Grant, Alasdair MacIntyre, Patrick Deneen, Allan Bloom, C.S. Lewis, St. Augustine and Plato.
